Major League Baseball

Major League Baseball (MLB) is the most historic professional sports league in the United States and consists of 30 member clubs in the U.S. and Canada, representing the highest level of professional baseball. Our company values – excellence, accountability and integrity, teamwork and inclusiveness – guide our actions every day. Corporate social responsibility is engrained in the fabric of our work and culture, as we integrate social and environmental considerations in our day to day practices. Over the past several years, MLB has streamlined our philanthropic support in an effort to deepen engagement with charitable partners and have greater impact on selected focus areas. Our three main partners include Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Jackie Robinson Foundation and Stand Up To Cancer. Significant funding and in-kind support benefit those charities, in addition to a limited number of other nonprofits focused on promoting healthy relationships, character education and military & veterans support. For more information on our efforts, visit www.mlb.com/community.

Major League Baseball is proud to honor the military through year-round programming and support. As part of our relationship with the military, Baseball champions active duty service members, veterans and their families, across three pillars: quality of life, health & wellness, and transition services programs. In 2019, MLB launched a Military Mentoring Program with the nonprofit American Corporate Partners, which is focused on helping returning veterans find their next careers through one-on-one mentoring, networking and online career advice. In addition to a charitable grant to the organization from Major League Baseball, nearly 40 MLB employees will be connected to post-9/11 Veterans for customized 1:1 mentorships.
