AIG

For nearly one hundred years, AIG has faced and managed complex risks; and provided the risk expertise and financial strength that empowers clients in more than 80 countries and jurisdictions. Having a positive influence on our customers and in the communities where we live is vital to AIG, and an important part of our history. AIG is committed to giving back to the communities we serve, including those affected by disasters, through programs and partnerships that leverage the skills, experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm of our employees. Combined with our employees’ generous contributions of time and money, we are very proud of the support and relief our contributions and efforts are providing. We are focused on ensuring that our business operations are conducted in a responsible, sustainable, and respectful way.

AIG’s volunteerism and giving programs provide support to the charitable organizations that AIG employees are involved in and passionate about. AIG’s Volunteer Time Off Program provides all full- and part-time, regular employees of AIG and its businesses up to 16 work hours each calendar year to volunteer with organizations that benefit the community at large. Every April, AIG celebrates Global Volunteer Month and encourages employees around the world to leverage their valued time, talent and enthusiasm to build stronger communities. In 2017, over 9,488 employee volunteers donated 54,000+ hours of service.

Through the AIG Matching Grants Program, for every dollar, up to $5,000, an employee donates to eligible organizations, AIG doubles the donation, matching up to $10,000 per calendar year, totaling up to $15,000 the recipient organization can receive on behalf of AIG and our employees. In 2017, 3,000+ employees participated in the program, donating $6.4 million to over 3,345 organizations.
